Part Attachments
The Attachments List page is where you can access and manage documents attached to a part. A variety of document types can be uploaded or attached to a record, including links to external files or web pages. Documents can only be opened on your device if the software to view them is available.
View a Document
There are four types of documents that can be included in the Attachments List:
-
Record Link: A file uploaded directly to the record (not stored in the Documents module in the Main Application (MRO))
-
Library Link: A file uploaded to the Documents module in the Main Application (MRO), such as a PDF
-
Library Document: A document created directly in the Documents module in the Main Application (MRO)
-
External Link: A URL link to an external site or document, also stored in the Documents module in the Main Application (MRO)
This could include a link to a web page or a link to a document stored on an external server, such as Dropbox.
